Latest article in the series on Neobulle's commitments to nature: after discussing our actions through our carrier ranges and our care ranges, this time let's take the time to talk about the company itself!
1 – Our cocoon: the new building

Until now, tenants of premises not always aligned with our values, we have crossed the threshold of building a new facility, in our image!
We envisioned our cocoon as a living space that harmoniously integrates into the surrounding nature.
Eco-construction, Forez wooden frame, low energy consumption, geothermal energy… Everything is designed to minimize its energy impact.
The construction itself adhered to the specifics of the terrain, notably aiming to preserve the existing trees on the site (which was unfortunately not possible for all). And the aesthetic of the building seeks to blend into the surrounding forest.
2 – Small gestures that matter!
Waste management in a company can sometimes be complex…

What to do with, for example, the many cartons we receive and cannot always reuse? Well, we shred them and use them to pad the products in your orders!
Generally, we make a point of adapting the sizes of our packaging to what they contain, to avoid waste on care products, and ensure that the boxes for our baby carriers are perfectly fitted.
We also do not use additional plastic for packaging.
Fun fact: we even go to our neighbors at the Biocoop 200m away to collect their cartons to shred or reuse for certain shipments!
3 – Nothing is lost (again)!

Whether it’s fabric scraps or care products that can no longer be sold, employees can benefit from them free of charge for their personal use. We also turn to donations to charities. Thus, there is no destruction of unsold items.
As for our textiles, they are donated to design schools or recycled into building insulation.
4 – Useful and Durable Products
We are committed to designing only useful products in families' daily lives.
Therefore, the resources needed to manufacture these are dedicated to real needs and do not support
Our carrying ranges are also very durable and easily accommodate multiple children. We have a 2-year warranty policy and offer repairs for all baby carriers that can be repaired, which helps avoid throwing them away.

5 – And what about the Neobullians?
The entire company is concerned with ecology, and this is reflected in many small daily actions.

Waste is sorted in the break room, some leftover food is taken home by those who have chickens.... When Fango, our brave dog, doesn't directly benefit from it 😉
We also set up a "swap" corner in the break room where clothes, books, and other jars or dishes are exchanged.
Weekly orders are made from local small producers, especially cheese and yogurt, to help support the local economy.
You understand, at Neobulle, ecology is a core value, at the heart of everyone's commitments! And you, what are your small daily gestures?
