Can I put down my baby with it?

Le hop’là est un support au portage à bras. Il permet de soulager les bras du porteur mais n’est pas destiné à maintenir plus que le bassin du bébé et nécessite donc de garder un bras dans son dos.
Le hop’là ne permet pas de lâcher complètement son enfant.

Can I carry a newborn with it?

Le hop’là est destiné au portage de bébés ayant un bon tonus musculaire dorsal et qui tiennent leur tête. Nous recommandons d’attendre les 6 mois de votre enfant pour commencer à l’utiliser.

What size to choose?

La taille dépend du gabarit du porteur. Elle se mesure en étant habillé avec des vêtements pas trop épais, comme conseillé lors du portage. Elle n’augmente pas lorsque l’enfant grandit, il ne faut de fait pas prendre plus grand en prévision.
A la mise en place, le hop’là peut paraître serré mais étant un peu élastique il va beaucoup s’étirer avec le poids de l’enfant.
Si vous êtes entre deux tailles, prenez la plus grande.

Is baby going to slip?

Pour stabiliser l’installation, il faut veiller à ce que la matière soit bien calée au creux des genoux de bébé. Il ne faut pas chercher à remonter ensuite dans son dos, le dispositif est conçu pour juste soutenir les cuisses et les fesses. Cela permet à l’enfant d’adopter une posture physiologique avec les genoux qui remontent plus hauts que les hanches et empêche qu’il ne glisse à travers le porte-bébé.
