Three installation steps:

Put on the Hop'la
Position your child on your hip with the fabric cord, which should sit in the hollow of their knees
Pull the fabric up to the middle of their back

Note: the Hop'la is a hand-held carrying aid, always keep one hand on your baby's back.

Quelle taille de porte-bébé d'appoint Hop'la choisir ?

La taille du Hop'la dépend du gabarit du porteur. La taille se mesure en étant habillé, utilisez un mètre ruban pour prendre la mesure du haut de votre épaule droite, en passant par votre téton droit, et jusqu'au creux de votre taille côté gauche.
XS : moins de 54 cm
S : 54 à 60 cm
M : 61 à 67 cm
L : 68 à 73 cm
XL : 74 à 80 cm
La taille optimale n’augmente pas lorsque l’enfant grandit, inutile d'acheter plus grand en prévision. À la mise en place, le Hop’là peut paraître serré mais étant un peu élastique il va beaucoup s’étirer avec le poids de l’enfant.
Si vous êtes entre deux tailles, prenez la plus grande.

Est-ce que je peux lâcher mon bébé lorsque je le porte en Hop'la ?

Le Hop’là est une aide au portage à bras. Il permet de soulager les bras du porteur mais n’est pas destiné à maintenir plus que le bassin du bébé et nécessite donc de garder un bras dans son dos. Le Hop’là ne permet pas de lâcher complètement son enfant : gardez toujours une main en soutien de son dos.

Est-ce que je peux porter un nouveau-né avec le Hop'la ?

Le Hop’là est destiné au portage de bébés ayant un bon tonus musculaire dorsal et qui tiennent leur tête. Nous recommandons d’attendre les 6 mois de votre enfant pour commencer à l’utiliser.

Est-ce que bébé ne risque pas de glisser en Hop'la ?

Pour stabiliser l’installation, il faut veiller à ce que la matière soit bien calée au creux des genoux de bébé. Il ne faut pas chercher à remonter ensuite tout le tissu jusqu'à sa nuque : ce porte-bébé d'appoint est conçu pour soutenir le bassin de l'enfant, d'un creux du genou à l'autre, jusqu'au milieu du dos. Cela permet à l’enfant d’adopter une position physiologique avec les genoux qui remontent plus hauts que les fesses, cela permet d'avoir une assise bien profonde dans le Hop'la.

Puis-je utiliser le Hop'la dans l'eau ?

Le Hop'la est conçu pour une utilisation quotidienne, en appoint. Si vous souhaitez avoir un porte-bébé d'appoint compatible avec un usage à la plage, la mer ou la piscine, optez pour l'Aquabulle. Il s'installe de la même façon !
